We had a crack in our toilet which leaked through the flooring and into a first story bedroom. Five Star came to our home the following day and was extremely thorough in examining the damage and providing us a detail explanation of repairs to be completed. We worked with Taylor Fram and Dusty Cranmoore who removed the water damaged areas and completed the drying process before mold developed. They were excellent to work with, detailed, and knowledgeable through every step of the process. We will be continuing to work with Five Star for the construction/remodeling process as we are extremely pleased with their level of service.

Five Star Restoration Company is an A++ company for fixing major problems or damage caused by flood, fire, etc. I’m so late on posting a review for this company but was recently was recommending them, and realized I hadn't reviewed them. They are hands down the best restoration company for tackling large problems, they worked wonderfully with our insurance company when we had a shut off valve failure! They allowed us to choose our upgrades, and worked with us on our timelines. they also pointed out some mistakes the plumber we had used made, and got those rectified for us! They were also Professional Respectful and responsive. Josh Pena was our project manager and he was excellent to work with! I will continue to recommend them any chance I get! Our home was damaged in a fire in mid-July, and the fire triggered sprinklers that created water damage—more extensive than the fire damage. We are still in the planning phase for repairs, but we can strongly recommend working with Halima Akanour, Paul Parsons and James. Hali is the designer—she has great design skills as well as great project management and client skills. She has lead us through the process of designing our kitchen (demolished due to mold mitigation), as well as other enhancements we are making to the house. She has found solutions for problems even outside her professional role as designer. Paul Parsons has scoped work and created very detailed estimates that truly account for every line item so we can anticipate costs. He has also went back to the insurance company to request additional funds when damage has been discovered that was not covered in the initial estimate (our granite could not be successfully removed without damage). He’s extremely professional and knowledgeable. James did an amazing report that helped us discover that another company doing mitigation had overlooked quite a few areas of damage (mold). Ultimately, his work is what prompted us to request Five Star to do our repairs instead of another local company which had missed some of the damaged areas James (and Paul) caught! I hope to add to this review when planning is complete and work is done. Note that planning has taken 3 months so far, and I don’t know when we will be out of the planning phase. Hopefully soon!

Five-Star Restoration was sent to my home by The Hartford's Homeowner's Insurance coverage when I experienced water damage in my garage after a couple days of heavy rains. After being given a Nov. 23 start date for my repair project, I received a call from Alex to make an appointment with me to see exactly what would be required to get the job done for me. Alex came on the morning of Oct 31. Later that day he called to see if I would be in favor of getting the job started the very next day...a full THREE WEEKS ahead of schedule. Not readily, because of the short notice, but I thankfully agreed to getting started at 7:30 am on Nov 2. Alex came, introduced me to Miguel and Sheon and the rest is a beautiful 12-hour piece of history. Our rental property's kitchen had a large, undetected leak resulting in mold and rot on the floor, the kitchen cabinets and the counter. The repairs took too long to get off the ground. However the project progressed very quickly and smoothly once Nathan Provencal became aware of the delays and became involved to manage the process. The kitchen looks truly wonderful. We cannot say enough about the professionalism and kindness we've encountered from the Five Star Restoration pack out crew. This process has been so stressful but they sure helped ease it when having to pack up every item in our home due to the damage. Janely, Chelsea, Elvira, Jesus, Mauricio, Diego, and Adrian Jr were all amazing. They were hardworking, respectful, and kind. There are no words to describe how impressed by them we were. Today, the water mitigation team finished their part of this new job. I've worked with them in the past and had high expectations, which they exceeded. Professionalism? Check. Respectful? Check. Punctual? To the minute! Communication with the office staff? Reliable and friendly. They were all knowledgeable, patient with my questions, concerned for my comfort regarding noise, etc. They all wore masks because I have lung disease. Super attentive and the job is beautiful.
